A First Time For Everything

More ways of God I have seen come about. Luci´s baptism was amazing! The Spirit was there to testify of the truth that was taking place. Everyone in the room could fill the Holy Ghost so strong all the way up till the closing prayer. She was baptized and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost and shared her testimony of God´s Church upon the earth today. During a visit with Jesús, our friend, he took the Book of Mormon in his right hand and lifted it up. He did this several times saying, ¨This book needs to go throughout the entire world!¨ and ¨Everyone needs to know of the Book of Mormon!¨ ¨This book is true and the word of God!¨ I have heard statements like this but never from someone learning about the Church! I have had other first experiences in the mission: I jumped off my first moving train(it wasn´t the Spanish AVE speed train)! I sang my first solo for a Primary Sacrament presentation! Directing a great baptismal service! Entered my first Spanish Castle(today)! First time being half way in a world war II bunker! Riding a train(without jumping off)! Giving my first sacrament talk in Spanish in the mission field(actaully not too long ago!)! Cooked Spanish food! Cooked enchiladas for the first time! Speaking/listening (to) Spanish, English, Portuguese, nd Polish all in one big conversation! Hearing Castellano, Gallego, Bable, Basque, Valenciano, Catalán, Leonés, Portuguese, English(from England, Ireland, Great Britain,and Wales), Tribal African languages,Italian, Indian, Japanese, Danish, Polish, and so many more for the first time! Read Jesus the Christ, Our Heritage, Nuestro Legado, Our Search For Happiness, all in less than a month! Talk about building your testimony in Jesus Christ and also in His Church upon the earth! I reassured Jesús that the truth is going throughout the entire world! It is filling the globe! It is going out to every continent and every tongue known to man! It is sweeping the islands of the sea! So that the word may be fulfilled! Many are hearing the truth and having the opportunity to accept it and their Savior. Others are looking for the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ but not know where to find it. I am happy to testify that Jesus is the Son of God. Elder Rodriguez
